Advance Techniques of Hair Transplantation

Hair transplantation is a source of new life for bald people who are the victims of baldness due to different reasons. FUT, FUE and BHT are the most commonly used techniques for hair grafting and the demand of all of these is increasing day by day. No doubt, hair grafting is a treatment for many people with hair problems but it is also causing serious issues in the patients. This article is about the main types of transplantation and the major issues which are faced by hair implant recipients. Hair transplant clinic in Lahore is offering various kinds of hair restoration techniques.

Hair transplantation is an advanced technique to transport hairs from donor to recipient to decrease the baldness in people. This technology is used for the immigration of eyebrows, eyelashes, chest, head and beard. The rate of hair resetting is increasing due to increase in baldness which may occur due to aging, accidents, hormonal abnormalities and stress conditions. The recorded rate of baldness in women is 40% while in men is 85%. Graft extraction involves the transfer of follicles containing twenty distinct cells having different functions. Follicles are found in the dermal layer of the mammalian skin. The most commonly using techniques for hair reorientation are follicular unit transplantation (FUT), follicular unit extraction (FUE) and the body hair transplantation (BHT).

Two Major Techniques of Hair Transplantation

1.      Follicular Unit Transplantation

In this technology of hair reconditioning named as follicular unit transplantation (FUT), several inches long section of donor’s back head is cut by using a scalpel and then stitched. The cut section of the back head is divided into small sections of follicle units by using magnifying glass lenses and an acute knife. These small follicle units are inserted into the bald part of the recipient head. It is also called strip hair surgery technology.

 2.      Follicular Unit Extraction

The second most common technology of hair transplantation is FUE which involves the four major steps. In the first step the head of the patient is cleaved around the follicle and then the follicles are removed from their units. Then these pores are implanted with grafted follicles to treat the baldness. The head is covered with bandages until complete recovery of injuries.

3.      Body Hair Transplantation

One more advanced technology of hair revamping is BHT which is an advanced version of FUE for hair transplantation of any part of the body. Head hairs are mostly used in BHT. Hairs are extracted from the head and inserted in follicle sites of another part of the body to treat baldness (Unger, 2020).

Complications after Hair Transplantation

No doubt, hair transplantation is reducing the baldness rate in the society but it is also causing harmful effects in recipients. The most commonly observed dangerous effects are various types of infection, swelling and pain in head, pus excretion, bleeding and many more. The sense of touch can be lost due to surgery.

Conclusion

Three different types of hair transplantation in Lahore  are more common and the most preferred one is FUE which is now advancing by the introduction of BHT. The rate of head hair regenerating is most common due to the stress that a patient may face due to baldness. Body hair setting is required mostly due to accidental events and hair updating is also an important and beneficial treatment for patients that are recovered from cancer. There is still a need to make advancements in this field to overcome the drawbacks or the issues after surgery.
